3. Eduardo Escobar, Infielder, Arizona Diamondbacks

Milwaukee has a fairly strong trio of infielders in Luis Urias, Will Adames and Kolten Wong. The issue is Wong has struggled with injuries all season long and Urias hasn’t found the consistency at the plate nor in the field.

Adding another good infielder like Eduardo Escobar would do wonders for Milwaukee’s offense. Escobar made the All-Star team this year despite only hitting .249 with a .299 on-base percentage. He would add to the Brewers’ strikeout woes at the plate, but he brings nice pop to the table as well. He already has 21 home runs and 62 RBIs to compliment that.

Escobar could play third base or even more to second when needed. That would give manager Craig Counsell flexibility to keep Urias on the field and give the Brewers another quality infielder to get their offense going.
