1. Trevor Story, shortstop, Colorado Rockies

Although Milwaukee has already acquired two shortstops in the past season, including the clutch Willy Adames, adding an elite talent in Trevor Story would be a nice boost for this team. They could just figure out the positions after the fact.

When the Colorado Rockies traded Nolan Arenado in the offseason, everyone’s been waiting for them to move on from Story. It’s a surprise he’s still there. Story has since battled an injury and has underperformed this season, potentially bringing his trade value down into a range Milwaukee could swing. In a down year, he’s hitting .249 with a .324 on-base percentage to go along with 11 home runs and 42 RBIs. If Milwaukee were to acquire him, a switch to the hitters-friendly American Family Field could do wonders for him.
