Tier 3 – J’Mon Moore, Cole Madison, James Looney, Kendall Donnerson

This tier of guys have yet to contribute much of anything in the NFL and are in danger of being out of the league altogether or already are.

J’Mon Moore, despite being the first of three receivers drafted in this year, was the first one gone and didn’t make the 2019 roster. He was drafted for his physical tools and not his football skill, which was blatantly obvious from his drop issues that were ultimately the reason he didn’t make the team. He’s only caught two passes in the regular season for 15 yards, and after being cut in March by the Houston Texans, it looks like his time may be up.

Cole Madison is an unfortunate story as he struggled with mental health issues off the field and his playing career never recovered. When he did get back in 2019, he tore his ACL in November of that year, and that all but ended his career.

When James Looney couldn’t cut it as a defensive lineman for the Green Bay Packers, they tried to convert him to a tight end, and the word was that he was making plenty of plays in practice. However, it simply wasn’t meant to be as the tight end room was too crowded, and he couldn’t get over the hump to make the roster.

As a seventh-round pick, Kendall Donnerson didn’t make the Packers’ 53-man roster and has been bouncing around practice squads ever since. He’s been with five different teams, and his career is on its last legs.
