Packers who could receive contract extension 1: Davante Adams

Davante Adams has been on a watch list for a contract extension since the loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the NFC Championship game. He’s cemented himself as one of the best receivers in the NFL and his teammates like to say he’s, “top two, not two.”

Adams had another monster campaign in 2020 when he caught 115 passes for 1374 yards and 18 touchdowns. Oh, and he only played 14 games. Although the Packers’ offense was successful without him, you don’t let a guy like Adams go at this stage in his career.

He’s a free agent after this season and will be aiming for a monster contract extension heading into his early 30s. The Packers should give him whatever he wants, as they’re not prepared for life without their top receiver.
