Tier 2 – Dean Lowry, Kyler Fackrell

The second tier is guys who have been starters on the team but haven’t made huge impacts or made this team a lot better with their presence.

Dean Lowry has been a primary starter on the defensive line for the past four seasons, playing in and starting all sixteen games in 2019 and 2020. He always excels at knocking passes down at the line, with 11 in his career and an interception. He is a solid rotation piece, but having some others to give him breaks and put less stress on him would be ideal. For a fourth-round pick, you don’t expect much more than a solid starter, so this was a successful pick for the Packers.

As a third-round pick, Kyler Fackrell was a bit of a disappointment off the edge. His best season was in 2018 when he had 10.5 sacks, but other than that, the most he’s had in a season is four. He didn’t do enough to get another contract in Green Bay, and his failings to rush the passer was a big reason they went all-in on the position in the 2019 offseason.
