Packers facing key contract year 1: Davante Adams

I’m sure the Packers would love to re-sign Davante Adams at any moment. They’ve worked to keep their other studs under contract and Adams certainly fits into that category.

His ascension to become one of the best wide receivers in the NFL has been nothing short of amazing. After a slow start to his career where he too struggled with drops, he’s worked to become one of the most reliable receivers in the game. His hands are elite and his route-running is second to none.

Adams is in the final year of a four-year, $58 million contract and will make $16.76 million this season. His next deal will be massive and he’ll make even more money. Can the Packers convince him to agree to such a deal sooner than later?
