Packers facing key contract year 4: J.K. Scott

The Packers brought in another punter to compete with J.K. Scott this season so it’s not even a sure thing he’ll survive training camp and preseason.

Scott has been extremely inconsistent since being selected in the fifth round of the 2018 NFL Draft. He’s flashed a booming leg with the ability to punt the ball high and far. Heck, he’s even shown the ability to drop the ball inside the 20 when needed.

Unfortunately, he doesn’t do it consistently and seems to get worse as the weather turns. You obviously can’t have that playing in the confines of Lambeau Field. Scott’s rookie deal expires after this season and he’ll become an unrestricted free agent. Will he earn a multi-year deal with a plethora of guarantees?
