Important Packers entering final year of contract: Tyler Lancaster

The Packers’ defensive line has been a major weak point in recent seasons and part of that is due to the lackluster performances of Tyler Lancaster. He just re-upped with Green Bay for a one-year deal of $1.25 million in 2021 and he’ll have another chance to improve his situation. Will he be ready to rise to the occasion?

Important Packers entering final year of contract: Lucas Patrick

Lucas Patrick figures to be the favorite to regain his starting right guard spot for the 2021 season (don’t sleep on Ben Braden). What his future looks like after this season is unknown, however. The versatile interior offensive lineman will earn a little over $2 million this year before becoming a free agent. Green Bay has used plenty of draft capital in the last two drafts on guys who could potentially replace him in the starting lineup. We’ll see if he returns.

Important Packers entering final year of contract: Robert Tonyan Jr.

The Packers just re-signed Robert Tonyan Jr. to a one-year deal and found a way to add void years to the end of it in order to work some salary cap magic. However, they’ll have to re-sign him again next season if they want him back. Tonyan was a breakout player in 2020 and looks to build on his tremendous success. He could be in line for a huge contract with another strong campaign.
