Milwaukee Bucks vs. Miami Heat playoff series preview
It’s no secret the Milwaukee Bucks want revenge from last year’s early playoff exit at the hands of the Miami Heat.
The Bucks just weren’t firing on all cylinders during the NBA East Semifinals, falling behind 3-0 and eventually losing 3-1 inside The Bubble. That was last year, and this year’s roster is greatly improved.
This offseason and into the season, the additions of free agents Bobby Portis and Bryn Forbes and a trade for Jrue Holiday have made the roster deeper and more talented. Milwaukee also re-signed Pat Connaughton, and two-time and reigning MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo.
Those moves resulted in the Bucks earning the third seed (46-26) in this year’s playoffs. Meanwhile, Miami is the sixth seed (40-32) and winners of eight of their last 10 games and 12 of the past 16 games dating back to April 18th.
