Jordan Love

I mean, when was the last time there was real excitement around a Green Bay Packers preseason game? For me, I can’t recall, but I cannot wait to see Jordan Love in action. Aaron Rodgers’ has referred to his future with the team as a “beautiful mystery,” but that’s not a bad way to describe Jordan Love either.

With no fans allowed at training camp and preseason games canceled last season, outside of a few video clips, we on the outside have barely seen Love throw the ball, let alone play in a real game. Even for the Green Bay Packers coaching staff, there are plenty of unknowns. As QB3 a year ago, he wasn’t getting many reps in practice, and of course, a game is completely different than even the most intense practices.

Chances are he is going to take his lumps, and I’m sure everyone will react to that reasonably, but I can’t wait to see that arm talent in action and what he looks like in the pocket. Does he go through his professions? How does he handle any incoming pressure? Are his throws on time? How accurate is he? Along with many other things.
