Inside Linebackers (3)

Krys Barnes, Kamal Martin, Ty Summers

This is one of the most controversial positions in this predictions article, as I only elected to keep three inside linebackers for the Packers. Krys Barnes, Kamal Martin and Ty Summers all have fewer than three years of experience in the NFL and are pretty big question marks at the position. Barnes and Martin are injury prone and Summers doesn’t seem to have the requisite athleticism to play the position full-time.

Oren Burks and Isaiah McDuffie are two players who could earn a spot if Green Bay goes with four guys at the position. That’s a very real possibility. However, I elected to keep a fifth safety to make up for the lack of inside linebackers considering how often teams play an extra defensive back and only keep one inside backer on the field.
