Safeties (5)

Adrian Amos, Darnell Savage, Vernon Scott, Will Redmond, Henry Black

Adrian Amos and Darnell Savage finished 2020 extremely strong. They were both playing the best football of their careers and the two complement each other nicely. They’ll continue to ascend and could be one of the best safety tandems in the NFL in 2021.

Vernon Scott, Will Redmond, and Henry Black all have work to do to become more consistent. Scott played mostly special teams last year and has to really shore up his tackling if he wants to earn playing time on defense. Redmond earned a lot of playing time as the third safety and lined up all over the field. He spent just about equal time in the slot, at free safety and in the box. Black played the least and he could be cut if the Packers go with another inside linebacker.
