There is a long road ahead before the Green Bay Packers get anywhere close to finalizing their 53-man roster for the 2021 season. The rookies are finishing up their first appearances in Green Bay before OTA offseason workouts begin on May 24th and carry on through June 17th with the mandatory minicamp mixed in there from June 8-10.

All of those activities plus training camp and preseason games (obviously) will give the front office and coaching staff all the information they need to make tough decisions. Before that, however, let’s make some way too early predictions about who will make the final cut.

Special Teams (3)

Mason Crosby, JK Scott, Hunter Bradley

Barring something unforeseen happening over the summer, this group will remain the same heading into the 2021 season. Mason Crosby is the obvious choice at kicker–he’s made 38 of his 40 field goal attempts in the last two seasons. Scott and Bradley have their work cut out for them. They are extremely inconsistent and the Packers brought in competition for them–if they aren’t up to the challenge they could be surprise cuts.
