The Green Bay Packers have a bunch of young talent on their roster, especially on the defensive side of the ball, and are primed to be major contenders once again in 2021. Of course, their veterans will lead the charge, but these young guys will play major roles next year.

To get an idea of how talented these young guys are, let’s rank the top five players who will be under 25-years-old by the time the season begins.

Let’s rank the top five members of the Green Bay Packers who are under 25-years-old heading into the 2021 season.

Packers under 25: 5. A.J. Dillon

Dillon is primed for a major role after mostly standing on the sidelines during his rookie season. When he did get on the field, however, he flashed some great abilities like his 100-yard game against the Tennessee Titans in Week 15. At 23-years-old, he’ll play out the next three years of his rookie deal and have a chance to become second fiddle to Aaron Jones. Expect the two to complement each other nicely and form an even more formidable duo than the Packers had in their backfield in 2020.

Packers under 25: 4. Josh Myers

Although rookie Josh Myers hasn’t played a snap yet, he makes his debut at No. 4 on our list. Myers was selected in the second round of the 2021 NFL Draft and is expected to immediately replace Corey Linsley as the starting center. Myers might’ve gone higher in the draft if it wasn’t for a medical red flag from some teams. Green Bay is happy he dropped to them and he’ll have every opportunity to be a big-time player for the Packers.

Packers under 25: 3. Rashan Gary

Despite entering his third NFL Season, Rashan Gary is still just 23-years-old. After a slow start to his NFL career, Gary came on strong his sophomore year and racked up five sacks and 11 quarterback hits last year. He projects to continue to get better and better and will have a chance to completely jump Preston Smith on the depth chart and become the starting outside linebacker. He has all the raw athletic ability in the world. Can he continue developing his technical skills to match?

Packers under 25: 2. Darnell Savage

Darnell Savage was also selected in the first round of the 2019 draft (along with Gary) and emerged as one of the better safeties last year. He still makes mistakes and has to iron out some kinks in his game, but the coaching staff really likes him. Savage finished the year playing the best football of his career and the Packers hope that carries over into the new season.

Packers under 25: 1. Jaire Alexander

Jaire Alexander was another young draft pick for the Packers, as he’s 24-years-old entering his fourth professional season. His arrow has been pointing straight up since he came into the NFL and he has a chance to establish himself as the best cornerback in the NFL this year. Despite giving up some size, he sticks in the jersey of opposing wide receivers and makes life extremely difficult. He’s in line for a huge payday following his rookie contract and he’ll deserve every penny.
