With the 2021 NFL Draft nearly upon us, it was time to run one final mock draft for the Green Bay Packers. And boy was this a beaut.

My final rendition is clearly my best work so far after exploring nearly every possibility for Green Bay over the last couple of months. I was able to strike a deal to move up in the first round and select the second-ranked prospect on the Packers’ big board. More on him in a moment.

Although it cost me a third-round pick to move up, I was able to address the rest of Green Bay’s needs throughout the draft. This included selecting an inside linebacker to compete for the starting job, some offensive line help, a couple of wide receivers and a couple of defensive backs. I hope you enjoy it.

In one last mock before the 2021 NFL Draft, the Green Bay Packers trade up in the first round to select a future All-Pro at a much-needed position.

Packers trade picks no. 29 and 92 to the Indianapolis Colts for Pick no. 21.

Considering Green Bay has 10 selections to work with in this year’s draft, I shipped their third-round pick to Indianapolis in order to move up eight spots and ensure the Packers get a prime player at a much-needed position.

Packers first round (21st overall): Christian Barmore, DL, Alabama

Green Bay was lucky Christian Barmore fell this far and didn’t wait to see if he would continue dropping. The Packers desperately need another quality body or two upfront and that’s exactly what they got. Barmore is as aggressive as it gets on the defensive line and brings the fight to the opposition. He needs to work on his discipline, but has all the physical tools to have a long and successful NFL career. He’ll be able to play all over the line, and if everything goes right for him, he can become one of the best linemen in the league.
