1. Miami Heat

It’s probably a lot of PTSD from last year, but a first-round matchup with the Miami Heat would be a disaster for the Bucks. Miami locked them down in the semi-finals in the bubble and put a hurt on this squad that led to some major changes in the offseason.

Don’t get me wrong. This Bucks’ squad is built differently from a year ago and the addition of Jrue Holiday is a factor that heavily sways the Bucks’ chances against Miami. Holiday would push head coach Mike Budenholzer to make changes in a timely fashion and not allow Miami to get comfortable on either end of the court. He also provides another serviceable defender for Jimmy Butler.

Miami still has a lot of offensive and defensive weapons they can employ masterfully to take down the Bucks for the second straight postseason. As it stands today, they are in seventh place and would take part in the play-in tournament. However, these are changing every day and they’re only a half-game away from having to face off with the Bucks in Round 1.
