Packers’ first-round sleeper: Christian Darrisaw, OT, Virginia Tech

Similar to Little, Christian Darrisaw is a player whose ranking varies greatly depending on the assessor. McShay has him 30th overall, Kiper has him 23rd and NFL.com has him 18th. However, if he trends closer to McShay’s assessment Green Bay should absolutely snatch him up.

Darrisaw enters the draft with loads of experience (and success) against NFL-caliber edge rushers. He’s extremely strong and defenders feel that strength when they go up against him. He’s equally good in both the running and passing games–something that LaFleur would love considering the balance he likes in his playcalling. Darrisaw could start immediately for Green Bay at right tackle and stay there once David Bakhtiari returns and kicks Billy Turner out of the left tackle spot.
