The Green Bay Packers could use immediate production from their first-round pick in a big, big way. After getting to the NFC Championship game two years in a row, they’ve added no outside talent in free agency so far and are unlikely to due to their salary cap situation. That means they will have to count on their draft class and internal improvement to get over the hump and get back to the Super Bowl.

Nobody knows how the first round will fall on Draft day, but there are a number of sleepers flying under the national spotlight that the Packers should keep an eye on. Let’s take a look at five overlooked prospects Green Bay could nab with their top selection.

These five players are being overlooked in the 2021 NFL Draft and could end up being first-round targets of the Green Bay Packers.

Packers’ first-round sleeper: Walker Little, OT, Stanford

The Packers have both an immediate and long-term need at offensive tackle for different reasons and could target the position in the first round. There are a number of interesting prospects who should be available and it will come down to which players each team likes.

Although Walker Little is the 11th-ranked offensive tackle prospect on NFL.com, Mel Kiper’s 9th and Todd McShay’s 67th ranked overall prospect, the Packers could shock the draft world and select him with the 29th overall pick. Little has only played 72 snaps since 2018, but his 2018 tape was damn impressive. He’s got great size (6-foot-8), amazing strength and good agility for someone his size. It might take him a minute to knock the rust off, but he could pay off in a big, big way.
