Packers 7-round 2021 NFL Mock Draft: Getting Aaron Rodgers ALL the help
Packers Mock Draft Round 6 (214th overall): John Bates, TE, Boise State
The Packers don’t necessarily need a tight end next season considering they have Robert Tonyan, Marcedes Lewis and 2019 third-round pick Jace Sternberger on the roster. However, considering Lewis’ age and Sternberger’s questionable production, I figured it wouldn’t hurt to add some future depth at the position.
John Bates can do a little bit of everything–he has decent speed, can block on the line of scrimmage, and has solid hands. He also has good size at 6-foot-6 and 256 pounds. He’s not going to break many (or any) tackles in the NFL and has some work to do in the route-running department.
Packers Mock Draft Round 6 (220th overall): O’Bryan Goodson, DL, Memphis
I added another player at a huge position of need for the Packers in their defensive line. O’Bryan Goodson is a little undersized and needs to add some healthy weight to succeed in the NFL. However, he’s super quick and can move around on the line in a hurry. He also works extremely hard and has a high-end motor.
