Packers 7-round 2021 NFL Mock Draft: Getting Aaron Rodgers ALL the help
Packers Mock Draft Round 5 (173rd overall): Robert Hainsey, OT, Notre Dame
It may not have been as early as I would’ve liked due to how the board fell, but I finally get Green Bay some offensive tackle help in the fifth round. However, due to the addition of a center early on, it gives Matt LaFleur more flexibility with the interior of his line and the potential to bounce someone outside.
Robert Hainsey was a plus run-blocker in college who needs to add some strength at the next level. He could eventually move inside due to his lack of length, but could be tried out at right tackle to begin his career.
Packers Mock Draft Round 5 (178th overall): Trill Williams, CB, Syracuse
Trill Williams is another player who fell right into my lap in the fifth round and fits a huge position of need. It’s very likely Green Bay adds a corner or two before this, but better late than never. Trill Williams has nice potential and I love this selection for the Packers. He’s an elite athlete and has great size at 6-foot-2. The downfall is his inability to make plays on the ball and making tackles in space. However, he could take it slow for a year and learn the game while refining his craft with the Packers.
