Packers Mock Draft Round 4 (135th overall): Cade Johnson, WR, South Dakota State

Back to offense. I selected the second and final wide receiver (spoiler alert!) in this draft in South Dakota State’s Cade Johnson. I think Johnson is flying under the radar a bit because of the school he played at, but he could be a mid-round darling for Green Bay.

Johnson is a plus athlete who can get in and out of his breaks quickly. He ran a lot of deep routes in college and could open the underneath routes for his teammates. He can also make tough catches in traffic when necessary. An additional bonus to his game is his experience as a kick returner–a role the Packers still have to fill.

Packers Mock Draft Round 4 (142nd overall): Khalil Herbert, RB, Virginia Tech

Even though Green Bay has Aaron Jones and A.J. Dillon at the top of the depth chart, they still need another quality running back or two behind them. Khalil Herbert is a 5-foot-9 and 212 pound bruiser who also possesses good speed. He would be a sneaky good third back for the Packers who also brings kick-returning experience to the mix. The biggest downfall is his age, as he was a fifth-year senior.
