Packers 7-round 2021 NFL Mock Draft: Getting Aaron Rodgers ALL the help
In today’s version of a Green Bay Packers’ 7-round 2021 NFL Mock Draft, we get Aaron Rodgers the help he’s been asking for early in the draft, as we add offensive weapons not just early, but often.
Of course, we say this a year after the Packers finished first in total points, first in scoring percentage, fifth in total yards and last in turnover percentage. Oh, and Rodgers also had one of the best seasons of his career on his way to winning another MVP award.
Still, there is always work to be done. Green Bay lost Corey Linsley in free agency–the second big-name offensive lineman in as many years. They also don’t have any wide receivers under contract past 2021 and plenty of questions at the position behind Davante Adams. Lastly, they lost backup running back Jamaal Williams to the Detroit Lions. All those issues and more will be addressed in the following mock draft.
In this edition of a full, 7-round 2021 NFL Mock Draft, we add a bunch of offensive weapons for Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers.
Packers Mock Draft Round 1 (29th overall): Elijah Moore, WR, Ole Miss
Elijah Moore slipped to Green Bay in the first round of the PFF simulated mock draft so I decided to nab him with the top pick. Everyone and their mom expected the Packers to do this last year, but they avoided the position altogether. At 5-foot-9, Moore will likely be a slot receiver throughout his career, but that shouldn’t diminish his production. He is a very good athlete, can beat his man deep and has great hands. He’d quickly earn Rodgers’ trust.
