Top 5 buyout candidates for Bucks: Justin Jackson, wing

Justin Jackson was a surprise buyout player who apparently came out of nowhere. Jackson was traded from the Dallas Mavericks to the Oklahoma City Thunder in November and then suddenly released by the Thunder at the very beginning of April.

Jackson was supposed to be a knockdown shooter coming out of college, but has failed to live up to that reputation in the pros where he’s made just 32.1 percent of his threes. This is one of the biggest reasons why he’s bounced around in just three NBA seasons.

Milwaukee could roll the dice to see if the 25-year-old can turn it around with his shooting woes. He possesses good size for a wing player at 6-foot-8, something the Bucks could use. They’re fairly small with Pat Connaughton, Brynn Forbes, and Donte DiVincenzo all undersized on the wing. This wouldn’t be the worst move they could make.
