1. Greg Newsome Jr., CB, Northwestern

Greg Newsome Jr. is currently no. 21 on PFF’s Big Board so it’s questionable whether he’d last until the Packers’ pick at 29. However, crazier things have happened and this would be a homerun hit if he did fall.

Although he can stand to add some muscle, he has good size and length at 6-foot-1 and 190 pounds. He also has great agility that allows him to stay with receivers in and out of their breaks. He only gave up 12 receptions for fewer than 100 yards all season and has a solid all-around game.

On the downside, he really only has one good year under his belt, and not a lot of experience against top-notch wide receivers. It will be interesting to see how he continues to develop, as the Packers could offer him the opportunity to learn for a year while King and Alexander handle the snaps on the outside.
