6. Christian Darrisaw, OT, Virginia Tech

Here’s yet another offensive tackle on the Packers’ big board and for good reason. Christian Darrisaw not only fits a need, but he’s a very good player as well. Although he played left tackle in college he’ll likely move across the line and play right tackle in the NFL. He’s ready to step in right away which is what Green Bay would need from their top pick.

5. Greg Newsome II, CB, Northwestern

Now we are getting into the players who may or may not be available when the Packers pick. Greg Newsome is projected to go in the low 20s but if he slides, watch out! Despite re-signing Kevin King, the Packers still need immediate depth and a long-term solution opposite Alexander. Newsome is a playmaker who could be just that.
