Players they let walk

Green Bay had a number of prominent free agents this offseason and they were never going to be able to keep everyone (it’s extremely surprising they re-signed Jones and King as it stands).

The team receives the lowest grade for Corey Linsley who signed with the Chargers. This isn’t because they should’ve re-signed him, but because he was such an elite player for them that it hurts to lose a player of his caliber.

They received the highest marks for allowing Jamaal Williams to walk because it wouldn’t have made any sense to bring him back after re-signing Jones and drafting A.J. Dillon in the second round just a season ago. As for Montravius Adams and Tim Boyle, they didn’t fit into any long-term plans for the Packers.

Corey Linsley: C

Jamaal Williams: A

Montravius Adams: B

Tim Boyle: B
