Packers’ mock draft round 6 (212th overall): O’Bryan Goodson, IDL, Memphis

Doubling down on defensive linemen in the sixth round, I started by selecting O’Bryan Goodson out of Memphis. Where Tuipulotu can play all their downs, Goodson is more of a pass-rush specialist from the inside. He’s a bit undersized which limits his effectiveness in stopping the run, but he has the potential to learn how to leverage his low point of attack. It’s unclear if he’d make the final roster, but he’s worth taking a shot on at this point in the draft.

Packers’ mock draft round 6 (218th overall): Quinton Bohanna, IDL, Kentucky

To counter the pass-rushing Goodson, I selected a run-stopping specialist in Quinton Bohanna just six picks later. Bohanna has good power and can eat space and blockers to allow the linebackers behind him to make more plays. He’s not a great athlete but could at least get the job done in college. We’ll see if he can work around that in the NFL.
