Ranking Packers’ needs at start of 2021 free agency

5. Offensive Guard/Center

They’ll also need help on the interior of the offensive line. It’s unclear if Jenkins will stay at left guard or move to center, but Green Bay will need reinforcements either way. They still have Lucas Patrick and Jon Runyan Jr. at guard as well, but adding another quality player would be helpful considering both players are wildcards.

6. Third Safety/Dime Linebacker

It may seem weird to have three defensive backs in the top six of the Packers’ needs considering this is a roster that sports Alexander, Darnell Savage and Adrian Amos. However, considering the passing nature of today’s NFL, the fifth defensive back is basically a starter and a sixth one sees the field frequently as well. Raven Greene wasn’t tendered as a restricted free agent and Will Redmond is an unrestricted free agent as well. The Packers would be wise to add a quality player here.
