Ranking Packers’ needs at start of 2021 free agency

3. Defensive Line

Sticking on this side of the ball, the Packers must address their defensive line as well. They didn’t tender Tyler Lancaster which gives them even less depth behind Kenny Clark if he doesn’t return. Kinglsey Keke could be a contributor, but Green Bay shouldn’t expect much from Dean Lowry considering his recent play. It all starts upfront for the Packers and they’ve been sorely lacking in this area.

4. Offensive Tackle

There are still a lot of unknowns about David Bakhtiari’s timetable to return after tearing his ACL before Week 17. Even though the Packers have flexibility with Elgton Jenkins, they need a couple more players on the line considering they just lost Corey Linsley and Lane Taylor’s future is unknown as well. At a minimum, they’ll need a starting-level tackle to step in until Bakhtiari is ready to return.
