The Green Bay Packers‘ front office has been busy in recent days, as they’ve made a number of moves to get under the lowered 2021 cap space. Those moves include restructuring Adrian Amos, Preston Smith and Billy Turner and waiving fullback John Lovett. It’s been a lot of nickel and dime moves for general manager Brian Gutekunst, but it’s quickly adding up.

If they so choose, the Packers still have a number of big moves remaining if they want to clear even more cap space this season and create enough room to sign a big-name free agent. Those moves include restructuring Aaron Rodgers and extending Davante Adams and Za’Darius Smith. If they make those moves then anything is possible when it comes to the free agent market so let’s take a look at five dream players they could sign.

If the Green Bay Packers want to make a big splash in 2021 free agency, they should attempt to sign any of these five players.

Dream free agent 5: Richard Sherman

Unlike the other guys on this list, Richard Sherman wouldn’t break the bank for Green Bay. At this stage in his career, he wants to play a couple more seasons and he could have an immediate impact for the Packers in 2021. Green Bay may very well end up signing a couple of cornerbacks this year because they are so weak at the position behind Jaire Alexander. Sherman isn’t what he once was, but he can still be a serviceable player on the outside.
