Packers sign Chris Carson

If the Packers can find some money to use in free agency, running back may not be high on their list of priorities. However, if Jones and Williams both walk–as all signs are pointing–they will need a complimentery back behind A.J. Dillon.

Dillon looks ready to take over full-time as the Packers’ starting running back next season. He flashed in his limited playing time in his rookie season and fans are excited to see what he can do with more opportunities. Chris Carson could enter the mix as a nice early down option alongside Dillon and the two could form a new one-two punch in the backfield. Carson could be a low-buy as well, which will be necessary considering Green Bay’s financial situation.
