Jordan Berry, punter

Speaking of special teamers who may have played their last game for Green Bay, punter J.K. Scott is on that list as well. Scott has shown off a booming leg from time to time, but is maddeningly inconsistent. Even worse, he seems to struggle when the weather turns cold–not great for Green Bay, Wisconsin.

New special teams’ coordinator Maurice Drayton recently said Scott’s back is “against the wall”, meaning the Packers will very likely bring in some competition for him this offseason. Who better than the best punter on the market in Jordan Berry? Berry is far from a great punter, finishing in the middle of the pack in net average over the last two years, but he is competition. He also has experience punting in cold weather, playing for the Pittsburgh Steelers.
