Ryan Kerrigan

Once a household name, Ryan Kerrigan is locked in a losing battle with Father Time and has seen his production dip over the past couple of seasons. After accruing at least 11 sacks from 2016-2018, Kerrigan has posted 5.5 sacks in each of the last two seasons and appears to have hit a wall. That could play into the Packers’ hands in free agency.

Kerrigan saw his playing time decrease with the arrival of Chase Young and is best served as a backup at this point in his career. Green Bay could bring him in to mentor Gary and continue allowing the young buck to grow and develop. He’s a solid veteran and someone who might be looking to get to the postseason after only playing in three career playoff games.
