Jared Veldheer

Now here’s a name Packers’ fans are more than familiar with. Jared Veldheer technically finished the season as a member of the Packers (since they signed him in the postseason), but he is basically a free agent from a different team.

The Packers obviously like Veldheer, as they’ve now signed him late in the season in both 2019 and 2020. This time around, they could try to bring him on board right away. Veldheer could be a replacement-level player to begin the season while Bakhtiari is recovering and provide insurance in case something happens throughout the rest of the year. He’s played well before in Green Bay and they should give him the opportunity to do it again.
