Packers’ running back to target in free agency: Todd Gurley

LaFleur and Todd Gurley go back to 2017 when LaFleur was the Rams’ offensive coordinator and Gurly had a monster season with 19 total touchdowns. That connection could come in handy.

Gurley is coming off the worst season of his career in which he only ran for 678 yards and nine touchdowns. He could benefit from coming to Green Bay where their offensive line has done a terrific job of opening up holes for the backs. Gurley wouldn’t infringe on Dillon’s starting role, but he would be more of a no. 2 back in the committee.
