Packers’ running back to target in free agency: James White

This would be an awesome addition to the Packers’ running back room. Not only is James White a former Wisconsin Badger, but his skill set also serves as a perfect compliment to Dillon.

Dillon appears to be a more straight-line runner who has no issue running over or through defensive linemen, linebackers and safeties. He does a great job of setting the tone for the offense. That’s where White can come in as the lightning to Dillon’s thunder. Although White probably isn’t going to run by many defenders, he is shifty in open space and has been used exclusively as a pass-catching and third-down back throughout his career. That’s exactly what Green Bay needs and he’d be a nice weapon to add to Aaron Rodgers’ arsenal.
