Packers’ mock draft Round 4 (133rd overall): Kelvin Joseph, CB, Kentucky

I wasn’t too pleased this was the earliest I drafted a cornerback, but it’s the way the board fell. If that’s the case, I better hope Green Bay signed one or two in free agency. Kelvin Joseph has good length and would be a good compliment opposite Jaire Alexander. The biggest downfall is he’s an early entrant into the draft and is definitely a developmental project.

Packers’ mock draft Round 4 (140th overall): Tarron Jackson, EDGE, Coastal Carolina

I doubled up on defense and added another pass-rusher after seeing what the Buccaneers did to the beat-up Chiefs’ offensive line. It’s unclear how Green Bay will approach their edge situation, as they could either restructure Za’Darius Smith’s contract or release Preston Smith to gain some financial flexibility. By adding Tarron Jackson, they add another developmental project (we saw how well that has turned out with Rashan Gary), who can play both the edge in a 3-4 alignment or move inside as a defensive lineman. That’s great versatility that’s hard to pass up at this point in the draft.
