Packers’ mock draft Round 3 (92nd overall): Tylan Wallace, WR, Oklahoma State

Green Bay finally takes a wide receiver in the draft, even if it’s not a first round pick. Tylan Wallace spent four years at Oklahoma State with his best year coming in his sophomore season (86 receptions for 1491 yards and 12 touchdowns). Although he was never able to replicate that success, he still put up pretty good numbers in his junior and senior campaigns.

Wallace’s edition would give Rodgers another offensive weapon and a player who could compete with Allen Lazard and Marquez Valdes-Scantling for reps in the offense. He does a great job winning 50-50 balls at the point of attack and gained his quarterback’s trust as a result. It will be fun to watch him develop in a more complex pro offense, but he appears to have all the tools and skills to excel at the next level.
