3) 2010 Season – Super Bowl XLV (31-25 win over Pittsburgh Steelers)

What many thought would be the first of several Super Bowl wins for Aaron Rodgers (including myself), the 2010 campaign was capped off with a wild playoff run as the Green Bay Packers became the first team to win it all as a 6-seed. It was the third season with Rodgers as the starter and officially silenced the haters that questioned the team throughout the Brett Favre drama. It was a memorable postseason run that ultimately began in Week 16 against the New York Giants.

Going up against the Pittsburgh Steelers and one of the best defenses in the league, the Packers played a great all-around game, coming up with three huge turnovers throughout and giving it up zero times. Even though the Packers entered as a slight favorite, Pittsburgh certainly had enough recent and historical experience to give them an edge. The Steelers were a juggernaut on defense, ranking in the top three for takeaways, yards against, and touchdowns allowed.

It was a tale of two halves, as the Packers dominated the first, at one point leading 21-3 and had the looks of a potential blowout. The Steelers kept clawing back, but some great defensive effort and a 300-yard, three-touchdown day from Rodgers helped bring one back to Titletown.
