Aaron Rodgers

Approaching the now three-time MVP Aaron Rodgers about a contract restructure will be a fickle beast. The Packers might already be on somewhat thin ice with Rodgers after drafting Jordan Love in the first round in 2020. Rightfully so, Rodgers has the largest cap hit next season at a whopping $37.2 million. With that, he also offers the Packers the best chance to save money. If Green Bay restructures with him, they can save between $13-16 million, a significant chunk to say the least. However, that would mean guaranteeing more money in future years–something the front office might not be willing to do if they hope Love can take over long-term.
