3. Upgrade cornerback opposite Jaire Alexander

Perhaps, cornerback is the Packers’ biggest need in the offseason. We just saw Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers exploit any and every cornerback not named Jaire Alexander and it played a major role in the Packers’ downfall. Kevin King is also a free agent and there is very little depth behind him.

The Packers could and should look to both free agency and the draft to fill this position. Considering Alexander’s ascension so far in his career, whoever lines up opposite him is likely to be targeted early and often in games. They’ll need someone other than a rookie who can come in and handle the increased attention.
