The Green Bay Packers have another monster offseason staring them square in the face (I feel like we’ve said this for a couple of years now). After finishing the regular season 13-3 and exiting the playoffs in the NFC Championship Game for the second year in a row, the pressure is mounting for this team to get over the proverbial hump.

Although Green Bay has been very good for two years running, they still have a number of areas they can improve. And in order for them to get back to the Super Bowl for just the second time in Aaron Rodgers’ career, they must improve in these five ways over the offseason.

With the Green Bay Packers needing to take yet another step forward next season, here are five ways they can improve in the offseason.

5. Add another offensive pass-catcher

The debate continues even now, almost a year later, about whether the Packers made a mistake in passing up a wide receiver in the 2020 NFL Draft. It didn’t immediately hurt them, as Aaron Rodgers had a career-season and Davante Adams did a lot of the heavy lifting. However, Green Bay needs to add another pass-catcher this offseason or risk being even lighter in that department in the very near future. None of Allen Lazard, Marquez Valdes-Scantling, nor Equanimous St. Brown are locked up long-term. It’s imperative the Packers give the aging Rodgers another weapon in the passing game.
