Packers Round 5 (172nd overall): Divine Deablo, S, Virginia Tech

Getting back to the secondary, Divine Deablo would be an intriguing selection for Green Bay in the fifth round. Deablo doesn’t have great athleticism and he struggles to recognize plays. However, he’s not afraid to play physical football, as he has good size for his position. The Packers could try him in a dime linebacker role similar to what they tried (and failed) to convert Oren Burks to.

Packers Round 5 (178th overall): LaBryan Ray, IDL, Alabama

We’ve gotten a bit defensive-heavy here in recent rounds, and for good reason. The Packers need another quality body or two up front on their defensive line and that’s where LaBryan Ray comes into the picture. Ray isn’t a pass-rushing defensive lineman, but is stout against the run and is disciplined with his gaps. He may not be flashy, but he’s the type of guy the Packers need to shore up their issues in the running game.
