Packers Round 3 (92nd overall): Elijah Moore, WR, Ole Miss

Now we’re getting to the good stuff.

Elijah Moore is an undersized (5-foot-9 and 185 pounds) wide receiver who played three years at Ole Miss. He made huge strides each season, improving his reception yards, receptions and touchdowns every single year. He finished 2020 with 86 receptions for 1193 yards and eight touchdowns on his way to becoming a consensus All-American. Ole Miss also liked to hand the ball off to him as well and he racked up 14 rushing attempts for 64 yards.

Moore doesn’t fit the typical size general manager Brian Gutekunst likes in his receivers, but he might be a nice zig where they’ve otherwise zagged. He could fill a couple of positions on the Packers’ offense including the Tyler Ervin role.
