Jamaal Williams

As a backup running back (which is what his grade is based on) Jamaal Williams brought a lot to the Packers. He was energetic, often dancing after big runs, a good teammate, and a quality runner when called upon.

Head coach Matt LaFleur appeared to like Williams a lot this season, as he racked up 119 carries for 505 yards and two touchdowns. His 4.2 yards per carry average also ranked second-highest in his NFL career.

Unfortunately, Williams isn’t as explosive as you’d hope for and usually only takes what the offensive line gives him. It’s difficult for him to break tackles in space. Still, PFF liked him enough to hand out a grade of 76.9 which ranked 18th out of the 70 qualified backs.
