The Green Bay Packers have a franchise-defining moment on Sunday when they take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the NFC Championship game. If they win, they’ll have the opportunity to bring home the fifth Lombardi Trophy in team history. If they lose, it will be yet another disappointment since they won their last Super Bowl 10 years ago.

Green Bay has all the talent necessary to accomplish the task ahead of them, but the problem is the Buccaneers do too. Nothing will come easy for the Packers, but they’ll leave Lambeau Field a winner if…

They can run the ball

The Buccaneers had the best run defense in the NFL throughout the regular season and are expecting to get stud defensive lineman Vita Vea back as well. On the flip side, Green Bay loves to run the ball with Aaron Jones, Jamaal Williams and A.J. Dillon. Head coach Matt LaFleur uses the run to set up the pass, as Aaron Rodgers is extremely dangerous in play action. If the Packers can run the ball against this vaunted Bucs’ defense, they’ll advance to the final game.
