1. Packers’ defensive line vs Bucs’ offensive line

Where Aaron Rodgers has excelled against pressure, Brady has sometimes struggled. That is the key to the Packers’ defensive gameplan, as they can’t allow the stationary Brady to sit comfortably in the pocket and pick the soft coverages defensive coordinator Mike Pettine is sure to call apart.

The Packers have invested heavily in edge rushers over the last two seasons, including high-priced free agents Za’Darius Smith and Preston Smith and first round draft pick Rashan Gary. Gary and Z. Smith have been playing very well over the last several weeks and Green Bay absolutely needs that to continue in the NFC Championship game. If they can get pressure on Brady and force him to make quick decisions, it could turn the outcome of the game.

Green Bay could also use some other players on the interior of the line to step up, considering Brady often stays in the middle of the pocket. This is where Kenny Clark needs to step up his game. He’s been terrific this season, but he needs to take it to another level. The Packers might also be getting situational pass-rusher Kingsley Keke back which would help as well.
