The Green Bay Packers have a legacy-defining game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday as the two face off in the NFC Championship game. This is head coach Matt LaFleur’s second appearance in the final four in as many seasons in Green Bay. However, Aaron Rodgers is no stranger to this stage and has failed to jump over this hurdle since the Pack won the Super Bowl in 2011.

A rematch of a Week 6 contest in which Green Bay led 10-0 before getting blown out 38-10, the Packers and Rodgers will be out for revenge. However, this will be no easy task, as the Bucs are more than capable of taking them down once again and advancing to the Super Bowl. Let’s take a look at three matchups that will determine the winner in this contest.

3. Aaron Rodgers vs the blitz

A lot has been made both about Rodgers’ struggles against the Bucs’ blitzes in Week 6 and his masterful success since. Tampa Bay’s gameplan in their first game was to blitz, blitz, blitz, and blitz some more. And it was successful, as Rodgers had only a 7.4 passer rating and was sacked three times on those plays. Throughout his career, and the rest of the 2020 season, Rodgers has been superb against the blitz. Can he get back to his ways in this one?
