Loser: Special Teams

This game had everything a 2020 Packers’ game had: A fast start on offense, a slow third quarter where the defense allows the opposing team back into the contest, and a special teams’ blunder.

On a basic extra point attempt in the first half, J.K. Scott fumbled the snap and was unable to get the ball down in time for Mason Crosby to kick the extra point. Scott then picked the ball up and tried to make something happened. However, before he was about to get tackled he pitched it to Crosby who was brought down almost immediately. Unfortunately, Crosby appeared to hurt his shoulder on the play and it was clearly bugging him the rest of the game. We’ll see how Crosby recovers over the next week, but this was the typical blunder the special teams has nearly every game.
