2. Offensive scheme

Where the previous Packers’ regime relied on talent to get open, current head coach Matt LaFleur does a tremendous job scheming his guys open. Whether it be rub routes, crossers or other mechanisms, LaFleur ensures the game is as easy as possible for his skill players and quarterback.

That approach to the game has made a huge difference for Aaron Rodgers. It wasn’t long ago where many were wondering whether Rodgers is still elite or not. Well, he responded with potentially his greatest season ever and should win the MVP award when it’s announced before the Super Bowl.

The type of scheme LaFleur employs will come in handy when the Packers face the Rams’ no. 1 ranked defense on Saturday. By drawing up plays to get his guys open, Green Bay should be able to keep the ball moving and put enough points on the board to move on to the NFC Championship game.
